KUROBOND SC 75

USES
KUROBOND SC 75  can be used as a:
- Plaster bonding agent.
- Interior rendering to concrete, brick wall and cork.
- Bedding tiles, fixing or re-fixing slip bricks.
- Concrete repair, honey combs, spelled concrete; repairing floors, worn-out steps and surfaces, beams and precast elements.

APPLICATION
KUROBOND SC 75 has been developed specially for use with Portland cement. Combined with cement, very finely dispersed KUROBOND SC 75 has excellent adhering and penetrating power. This ensures and extremely high bond of mortar to either porous or non-porpous surfaces. After drying, KUROBOND SC 75 forms a tough, flexible, water resistant polymer structure in mortar and the substrate, thus improving flexibility and adhesion.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, sound and free from dirt, oil, grease and loosely adhering materials.
Porous surface should be sealed with a solution of one part KUROBOND SC 86 to ten parts of clean, fresh water. (sealer coat.)
In hot environment, the highly absorbent surfaces may require wetting before sealing.

As a Plaster Bonding Agent For Normal Plastering:
1.
Prime with a solution of 1 part KUROBOND SC 75 to 1 part of water al allow to become tacky (primer coat)

2. Plaster on top in the normal way.

DESCRIPTION
KUROBOND SC 75 is a multi purpose bonding agent and cement admixture specially formulated from modified polyvinyl acetate to improve properties like adhesion, durability, waterproofing, compressive strength, crack and wear resistance.

For Heavy Rendering & Cementitious Topping
1.
Prepare the key coat of sprayable consistency with one part of cement and 1 part of clean sharp sand by mixing in a solution of 3 parts water to 1 part KUROBOND SC 75
2. Spray the key coat on the tacky sealer coat (as mentioned in surface preparation) and allow to cure thoroughly.
3 . Apply the plaster on the cured surface

As A General Purpose Adhesive
Apply thin film to both surfaces, press surfaces together firmly, wipe off excess material and allow to set for 24 hours.
Note: KUROBOND SC 75 shall not bond polyethylene, PVC, rubber and similar surfaces.

For Repairs To Concrete & Granolithic Floors
Prepare and seal the surface as required. Apply priming coat of one part KUROBOND SC 75 to  1 part water and allow to become tacky. The priming coat should not be allowed to dry. If it does, re-prime and proceed only when tacky. Apply mortar consisting of cement and sand proportionately (1:2 or 1:3 depending on application and strength requirements), mixed to workable consistency with a solution of 1 part KUROBOND SC 75 with 3 parts water.

As a Bonding Agent For Tiles
Use  as a general adhesive for wood, cork, acoustic surfaces of ceramic, quarry, clay and terrazzo tiles. Seal with a solution of 1 part KUROBOND SC 75 to 5 parts of water. Before bedding in tiles apply to floor and base of tile a solution of 3 parts KUROBOND SC 75 to 1 part of water.

Dust Flooring
Two coats of a solution of 1 part of KUROBOND SC 75 with 5 parts of water.

Cleaning
Brushes and tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
